CruxRule decisions and feedback preview
Opt in to CruxRule decision records and operation feedback, with explicit consent and visible evidence limits.
The CruxRule preview connects global rules and customer practices to recorded decisions. It adds direct capture controls in the separately licensed CAD editor and Drawing Creator, alongside support sessions and analysis fixes.
Important notices
- Known limitation: DFM provides preliminary advice against generic limits and requires engineering review. It cannot assess imports lacking supported tessellation and does not certify manufacturability.
- Known limitation: Local session journals expire after 30 days. Review their contents before sharing. Sessions provides neither screen-video recording nor remote control.
- Known limitation: Decision recording requires design-context sharing and explicit consent. Provider assessment requires separate consent. Operation feedback does not prove engineering requirements; candidates with unproved mandatory checks cannot be recommended. Review decisions before acting.
New features
- In Crux Plus, Sessions saves local notes, diagnostic identifiers and verification outcomes, and exports journals as JSON or Markdown.
- Review a completed journal before attaching it to a support ticket. An administrator can give an investigator time-limited access to that specific ticket.
- Preview: record, review, correct and delete CruxRule decisions. Bind a design to an Editor document or Drawing Creator job to record native operation outcomes after explicit consent.
Improvements
- Selected rules from assigned .cruxrules files have their approval evidence verified locally; advice is withheld when recorded design or runtime pins change.
Reliability fixes
- Capped DFM detail no longer reduces the reported finding count; inconclusive checks include an explanation.
- Starting an ECO rescan removes the earlier results. Closing the scan stops it, and design-review responses are checked for freshness.
- RFQ packs refuse cost arithmetic overflow. Batch processing honours stop-on-error when input copying fails.
Licence requirements
- Editor access requires the ParaCrux subscription. The Agent subscription supports eligible headless analysis via agent tools and the bridge, without granting editor access.
