ParaCrux · Solidworks Agent

Less repetition.
More engineering.

Bring an agent into your SOLIDWORKS workflow. Inspect a model, prepare a change and review the result—with you in control of what gets saved.

A considered workflow

From a clear instruction
to a result you can inspect.

Designed for repetitive changes to existing parts—not a promise to automate every engineering decision.

01 / UNDERSTAND

Start with the real model.

Inspect features, dimensions, configurations and properties from your running SOLIDWORKS session.

02 / REVIEW

Make the change explicit.

Use the supported worksheet and agent tools to define a bounded change. Review what will happen before executing it.

03 / CHECK

Keep evidence with the result.

Run supported changes on copies and inspect the resulting native and STEP outputs before using them downstream.

From the lab

Change one dimension.
The drawing follows.

We gave an AI agent a connecting rod to model in SOLIDWORKS with every sketch fully defined, then to draw on an A3 ISO sheet. Then we changed one dimension. The part rebuilt and the drawing updated to revision B, with no hand edits.

This is a lab recording, not a shipping workflow yet. We would rather you heard that from us first.

  • 19 named features
  • 0 under-defined sketches
  • 0 edits to the sheet at rev B

Built around your workstation

Your tools.
A more direct workflow.

The desktop connects to SOLIDWORKS locally. Your subscription manages access; it does not replace your SOLIDWORKS installation.

  • Read-only file previews included free
  • One concurrent computer per purchased seat
  • Seat allocation and device status in your dashboard
  • Borrow a seat for supported offline work
  • Monthly or annual billing through Paddle
  • £5 of managed AI credit per seat, every month

Supported workflows and system requirements matter. Check compatibility before purchase. Always review engineering outputs before manufacture or release.

Before you start

A few practical details.

Do I need SOLIDWORKS?

Yes. The Agent requires Windows and a separately licensed, compatible SOLIDWORKS installation. It does not include a SOLIDWORKS licence. Contact us to confirm your version and intended workflow before purchase.

Is AI usage included?

Yes, up to a point. Each paid seat includes £5 of managed AI credit every UTC month. It is used first and refills on the 1st. Optional £10, £25 and £50 top-ups carry forward, and your dashboard shows exactly how much of each is left. How credit is used

What leaves my computer?

Your model files stay on your workstation. When you turn on design-context sharing, your message and a limited set of design context go to the AI model; reference files travel only as names and fingerprints. See exactly what is sent

Can I use the preview without paying?

Yes. The Files preview pane is free. The Agent's paid workflows require an active licence and an available seat.

How do I activate my computer?

Create your account, complete checkout and wait for payment confirmation. Generate an activation code in your dashboard, then paste it into Licensing in the desktop app.
