One file per size.
Each section becomes a SOLIDWORKS weldment profile under ParaCrux EN\<type>\<size>.sldlfp, with its designation, standard and area as custom properties.
Features · Structural profiles
283 standard steel sections, reconciled against their standards. Find one by designation, then send the whole library to SOLIDWORKS as weldment profiles. Each one is checked there before it is kept. Beams and columns carry their root radii, so masses match the tables.
Profile search and the SOLIDWORKS export both ship in the desktop app today.

An illustrative layout, not a structural design. Lengths are centreline lengths before end trims. Masses are the library's section areas at 7,850 kg/m³, the same areas SOLIDWORKS measures from the exported profiles.
One button in Home → Profiles. SOLIDWORKS writes the files itself, and each one has to pass before it is kept.
Each section becomes a SOLIDWORKS weldment profile under ParaCrux EN\<type>\<size>.sldlfp, with its designation, standard and area as custom properties.
SOLIDWORKS builds every new file as a 1 m structural member. If the member's area doesn't match the library, the file isn't kept.
The folder is added to SOLIDWORKS' weldment-profile locations, so Structural Member offers Standard “ParaCrux EN”. Later exports rewrite only what changed.

| Write all 283 sizes through SOLIDWORKS | 283 written, 0 failed, in 27 minutes. Each was built as a 1 m structural member before it was kept, and the member's area matched the library to 1 part in 10⁶. |

We would rather under-claim. If it isn't in the first column, you can't use it in the Agent yet.
Tell us the standard and designation. We add it when we can cite it, and we'll tell you if we can't.
