ParaCrux Solidworks Agent 0.1.14
Stable · 3 October 2026
Account management and design workbench improvements
Manage your account from the desktop, use clearer assembly and drawing workbenches, and export supported designs as Parasolid X_T with the required subscription.
This release brings the account dashboard into the desktop and adds pasted offline activation codes. The separately licensed Editor gains assembly and drawing controls, while CruxRule advice stays invalidated when newer operation feedback arrives.
Important notices
- Permissions: Desktop account sign-in asks for separate approval to manage subscriptions, billing, activation codes and AI credits for seven days. It does not activate a product or consume a seat; signing out does not return an existing seat.
- Known limitation: Offline codes require a request from this computer and a signed licence issued on a connected computer. Seats remain allocated until expiry or return. Managed AI and other online services remain unavailable offline.
- Known limitation: The new hardware families use simplified geometry and require engineering review. Candidate catalogue additions are not approved library releases.
- Known limitation: X_T export refuses unsupported geometry. Receiving applications may rename imported bodies; export does not establish engineering suitability.
- Known limitation: Component deletion removes its associated mates and currently supports part instances only. Adding drawing sheets is unavailable.
- Known limitation: CruxRule remains an opt-in advisory preview. Operation feedback does not prove engineering requirements, and candidates with unproved mandatory checks cannot be recommended. Origin and datum guidance does not add automatic enforcement.
- Privacy: Review session reports and attachments before sending them to support. Support replies and optional image or TypeSafe processing depend on service configuration and consent; session help does not grant remote control.
New features
- Manage subscriptions, activation codes and AI credits from the desktop account dashboard, with billing opening in your browser.
- Paste a signed offline activation code issued for this computer as an alternative to importing a licence file.
- In the separately licensed Editor, assemblies and drawings have contextual ribbons, design trees and right-click menus, with component deletion, placed-view editing and projection settings.
- Export supported parts and assemblies as Parasolid X_T, including supported colours, material density and component placements.
- My hardware accepts customer-authored countersunk screws, O-rings, standoffs and heat-set inserts.
Improvements
- Global CruxRule modelling guidance now calls for sketches related to the part origin and parts built around their own datums before assembly placement.
- Help with this session prepares a reviewed support draft from the current design session; News has its own reader separate from Crux Plus.
Reliability fixes
- Preview: In the CruxRule preview, a delayed decision response can no longer restore current advice after newer operation feedback has invalidated it.
- A slower document open no longer switches the Editor back after you have selected another document.
- Native Save dialogs use the correct package extension for parts, assemblies and drawings and refuse a conflicting extension.
- Parasolid text import recognises tokens split across line wraps.
Licence requirements
- Editor access requires the ParaCrux subscription. Parasolid X_T export requires the Solidworks Agent subscription; a ParaCrux subscription alone does not unlock it.
